01

Test your actual timetable

Use Metrovalencia’s official journey planner for the day and time you need. Then try the route yourself where possible. Record not just travel time but connections, platform access and waiting conditions. A listing’s “close to the metro” cannot substitute for this check.

02

Try the return journey

Morning travel and a late return can feel different. Check current operator notices, alternatives after a missed departure and the walk when carrying shopping. Avoid building a family schedule around an app’s minimum journey time without allowing for everyday variation.

03

Compare addresses consistently

Use the same destination and departure time for each property. Consider a day without your usual transport too. Decide how many changes and walking sections are manageable for you. The outcome should be a usable map of daily journeys, rather than a ranking of neighbourhoods based simply on distance from the centre.
